Andrea approaches grief counseling from a non-pathological perspective, and offers a variety of therapeutic modalities with an emphasis on narrative therapy.  Andrea supports grieving children and families by offering a variety of flexible counselling services. 

 

Andrea has a formal supervision agreement with a Clinical Psychologist, and as a result her counselling services are covered by most private insurance benefit plans for people who reside in Ontario.  Andrea also provides clinical consultation to counsellors/therapists in the field of grief and bereavement.  

 

In-person

Andrea has a private grief counselling practice in Toronto where she provides counselling support to:

• Children, youth, and adults who have someone close to them who has been diagnosed with a serious or terminal illness.

• Children, youth, and adults who have experienced a death.

 

Phone/Skype

Counselling and education sessions are available over the phone or by Skype to parents/caregivers of grieving children and youth anywhere in North America.  These sessions may consist of a one-time educational consult, or on-going counselling sessions.  Services are only available in English.

 

RATES

 

50 Minute Session: $155

80 Minute Session: $185
